Some best practices never change.

Good oral health is one of them.

Oral Health Best Practices.

  1. Brush teeth three times a day – but make sure your toothbrush is in good shape. You will need to change it often. Don’t forget to brush your tongue and the roof of your mouth.
  2. Floss daily.
  3. Stop smoking.
  4. Eat right.
  5. Cut back on sugar.

An Interesting Orthodontia Trend.

In the last two or so years, more adults than children were getting their teeth straightened. There are reports that adults who wore braces when they were young are now returning to orthodontia to help with slightly crooked teeth. There are new at-home options that don’t include in-person orthodontia visits.

Herbal Medicines.

There are herbs that support oral health, specifically oral tissue and gum health. Myrrh gum, Goldenseal root and Propolis gum are time proven to support gingival and periodontal health. You will find these herbs in Mouth Tonic™.
